Why a 0-8 car seat matters

Traditionally, child restraints are age specific. A convertible car seat is suitable from newborn to approximately four years of age, a convertible booster seat from approximately six months of age to eight years of age and an unharnessed booster seat will see you from approximately four to eight years of age.
